2-4-10 LIVE show: Creating Cards and Flowers

We had a great time at the show last night! I want to thank everyone that was live with us! If for some reason you couldn’t join us live you can watch the recorded show on our application page (after 24hrs). You can also see more Valentine’s project photos under our photo album on our Facebook fan page.

The sketch I used on the show was from this website. Remember, sketches are a great way to get you started on cards and give you the jump start that we all need sometimes for our creativity! Another good site that I often use for cards and layout sketches is Page Maps. You can also just google card sketches and I’m sure you’re going to find many resources.

The sprays I used to color the dryer sheets and coffee filters were Ranger Colorwash and Glimmer Mist. To Put the flowers together I used a hot glue gun, but you can definitely use whaterver works for you: sticky tape, tiny glue dots, etc. I would just not recommend pop dots.

We have a lot in store for you, but we also would like to know what else you would like to learn – so stop by our Facebook Fan Page and let us know! Also, if you have any questions about this tutorials contact me at 2worldswings@gmail.com or leave a comment here on this post.

Thanks for stopping by!
